About Matt
Writing and storytelling have always been Matt Deutschman’s calling, but it was his kids, now ages five and three, who inspired him to write books for children.
After earning a BS in Journalism from Northwestern University, he founded a business in the promotional marketing industry telling his clients’ stories through marketing campaigns. Reading books to his kids continues to be one of Matt’s favorite activities, and his fascination with captivating stories paired with irresistible illustrations led him to envision creating stories of his own to forge a deeper bond with his children.
